"What happens when intimacy dares to occupy public space? FAIR FAB's work interrogates the politicization of affection—especially when that affection challenges cultural or institutional norms. The graininess of the image recalls lo-fi surveillance or lost memories, blurring the lines between documentation and erasure. The repeated slogan 'KISS ACROSS THE LINE' pushes us to consider: what is 'the line'? Gender? Race? Borders? Identity? And what does it mean to cross it with tenderness instead of violence?"

This work belongs to a growing contemporary movement where digital manipulation, text, and archival aesthetics collide to evoke questions of identity, resistance, and emotional truth.
